I'm an 18 year old student with a part-time job. My dad and I own a salvage/junkyard. It's pretty cool. I drive a 1995 CHEVY 1500 Z-71. We've done a straight axle conversion, using a Dana44 front, which we coil-sprung. Used a Corporate 14-bolt rear end with 2500 series leaf springs. The total suspension lift is 6", with a 2" body lift on top. The truck's sitting on 37" Goodyear Wrangler MTR's. Recently got a new crate 350 dropped into the truck, with mild upgrades and tuning. Almost everything on the truck is new. I'll soon be getting a Duramax for everyday driving, and this will be a weekend/mudtruck.
