Kirk’s outdoor experiences started at an early age with his father. Spring and summer you could find the family camping and fishing on Toledo Bend. The fall and winter months were spent hunting and dogin' his road runner in the mud. In 1996, while running a successful business, he found time to create an outfitting and guide service. The aventures would take him across North America.
Recreational photography and videoing, with a strong desire to inform and entertain, led Kirk to produce his own outdoor hunting and fishing program in 2000. “Ebarb’s River City Outdoors” is about spending time in the great outdoors with friends and family. Both of Kirk’s daughters love to hunt. Kelsey loves to hunt for deer and hogs while Kristin likes to hunt for clothes and new shoes in the mall. After a traumatic Christmas shopping experience, Kirk feels safer hunting brown bears in Alaska with his bow.
Kirk believes that all people, no matter their age or physical abilities, should be able to enjoy and appreciate the outdoors. He has organized many hunts and outdoor activities for the terminally ill and the physically challenged through his non-profit “Dream Hunt” program. Mud riding with ATVs and trucks is one of the most popular activities and always brings smiles to their faces. Mud Wild finally came together in '06 after several years of filming pit racing and mud rides.
Currently, Kirk is hosting Ebarb’s River City Outdoors and co-hosting Magnum Adventure TV. He is also appearing on the Buck Commander Video Series created by Willie Roberston along with several MLB players and special guests. At this time the ERCO TV/Mud Wild crew is working on several new DVDs and new TV shows. Check us out at www.mudwild.com
