Hey everyone, We have been noticing a big sales jump for us with lifted truck mud flaps. Here in Arizona they changed the laws in January and are cracking down huge on not having flaps. The fine now is 180.00 and you have to take your truck to the DMV for a safty inspection to prove you have them on for court. Which here in AZ is another 55.00 and a couple hours of sitting at the DMV.
So we are wondering what the mud flap laws are in your state and how strict there are so we know what parts of the country to put our advertising money in to.
In AZ our law states all one tons no matter the height have to have mud flaps, and all trucks modified about stock raising the center of gravity. The mud flaps have to be the full width of the tread and no more then 8" off the ground. Which looking around at the local 4x4 shops theres not many out there that make a flap kit that would make your truck legal. The few that we found are not of great quality either.
So if you guys could email me or what not and let me know what the laws are in your state and if they inforce it I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
